Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a technical lead to manage the DISA account, guiding architecture and customer engagement for mission-critical defense networks.

You will design secure, scalable solutions across networking, Zero Trust, and cloud, ensuring adherence to FedRAMP/IL5 compliance while partnering with account teams on go-to-market strategies. You will own projects from concept to completion, presenting to stakeholders and aligning technical outcomes with national security objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in customer-centric IT, delivery, or pre-sales roles in the Defense sector.
• Active CCNP Enterprise (ENCOR) certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• US Citizenship and residency in the Washington, DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia (DMV) area to support regular on-site requirements at Fort Meade.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical relationship for DISA accounts by driving architecture, customer engagement, and mission alignment to deliver measurable operational outcomes.
• Design secure and scalable solutions across networking, Zero Trust, and cloud environments that comply with FedRAMP and IL5 standards.
• Collaborate with account teams to shape go-to-market strategies and opportunities for Cisco innovation within the Department of War.
• Deliver high-impact technical presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders to ensure solutions meet evolving defense requirements.
• Own project outcomes from conception to completion as a trusted advisor bridging technology and mission objectives.
