Job summary

TRI Austin, located in southwest Austin, seeks a software developer to create and maintain software for analyzing and managing large scientific and engineering datasets. You will help make our internal code base (Python, C, C++) more usable, maintainable, and deployable with other developers.

New projects typically run 1 to 3 years. This position is not remote. The ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance is mandatory. We are a small team focused on advanced materials and sensor development.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in C, C++, and Python.
• GUI development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for analyzing large scientific and engineering datasets.
• Improve usability, maintainability, and deployment of internal engineering code together with other developers.
