Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong professional experience developing software and programming with Python.
• Experience developing and deploying software in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience through a strong professional software portfolio.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve software applications for scientific and engineering data analysis, visualization, and management.
• Design and implement software solutions primarily using Python, Qt, and PySide6.
• Improve usability, maintainability, reliability, and deployment of TRI’s internal engineering software.
• Develop software for Windows and Linux environments.
• Apply sound software engineering principles throughout the lifecycle: architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation.
