Job summary

V2X Aerospace Solutions is seeking an electrical engineer to support manufacturing and repair of defense RF systems. The role requires ingenuity, teamwork, and on-site presence for daily operations. You will troubleshoot, design, and implement manufacturing processes while collaborating with design and test teams.

The candidate should have 6+ years of experience, read electrical schematics, and be able to travel domestically and internationally. A Secret Clearance is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE/EET), or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years full-time engineering experience.
• Knowledge of RF systems and defense electronics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing or depot support on electrical/electromechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions from technicians on the floor reworking components and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and repair items using RF, analog, and digital instrumentation.
• Collaborate with test and design engineers to address issues and improve manufacturability.
• Review BOM accuracy before release to production or overhaul.
• Develop manufacturing procedures and generate routings and kickoff documents.
• Support design changes to resolve manufacturing issues and cost reductions.
