Job summary

Ultra Maritime in Columbia City, IN, is seeking a proactive supply chain professional to manage strategic procurement for critical undersea warfare components.

You will work across engineering, finance, and operations to source on time, control costs, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, while using Excel, Power BI, and ERP data to optimize decisions. This role offers a path for growth in a mission-driven, defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant supply chain or procurement experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with BI tools and ERP system.
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements and experience executing compliant procurements under government regulations.
• Excellent communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement of critical components that enable our cutting-edge undersea warfare systems.
• Drive supplier engagement, RFQs, pricing analysis, and PO placement with precision and urgency.
• Partner across engineering, finance, and operations to ensure parts are sourced on-time and on-budget.
• Use data to optimize decisions, identify risks, and elevate performance.
• Execute procurement activities in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations, internal procedures, and government contracting requirements.
• Help shape a world-class supply chain that supports national security at sea.
