Job summary

HunaTek is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our defense-focused team in Virginia. You will analyze DoD datasets, apply forecasting models, and deliver actionable insights to support program decisions.

You will collect and normalize data, build cost and risk models, and present results to stakeholders, including DoD clients. A security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting for defense-related datasets.
• Experience supporting BCAs, AoAs, EA or other analytical studies.

Responsibilities

• Decision Support Analysis: lead or support BCAs and EA studies and develop cost/benefit estimates.
• Data Collection and Analysis: collect, normalize, and analyze complex datasets from DoD customers.
• Forecasting: build and apply forecasting models to predict future trends for strategic planning.
• Client Interfacing: work with clients to understand operational needs and deliver tailored analytics.
• DoD Knowledge: stay current on DoD policies and acquisition programs to ensure alignment.
• On-site delivery: support work in Quantico and Stafford areas.
