Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) seeks a quantitative analyst to drive cost analysis and rate development across multiple programs. You will extract insights from complex data, build models, and present data-driven recommendations to optimize resources and budgeting.

The role requires strong proficiency in operations research, financial analysis, and statistical tools. Telework is possible depending on mission needs; duty locations include multiple U.S. sites, including Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Degree in operations research or 24 semester hours in mathematics, statistics, or related fields with calculus.
• At least 52 weeks in GS-13 level or higher for certain entry points.
• Specialized experience in quantitative/financial analysis and cost estimating/modeling.
• Experience with data/statistical tools like ACEIT/Excel/Power BI/Python is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis of program data to identify costs and migration patterns for better decision-making.
• Develop cost estimate sources, methods, controls, and projections to forecast outcomes.
• Apply analytical methods to support resource allocation, logistics, and personnel decisions.
• Engage with divisions to ensure budgetary and strategic alignment with mission objectives.
• Support and develop cost recovery models and present options to leadership.
