Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator, Journeyman to support the Training Division at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. The role focuses on LAN/WAN, security, and government IT services within both classified and unclassified environments.

Ideal candidates have DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification and an active Secret clearance, with experience in VMware server administration and cross-functional collaboration across government teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience, OR 7 years of directly related experience, including DoD.
• Must have DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification and an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration support for LAN, WAN, web, and communications across classified and unclassified environments.
• Support network security for command and control systems.
• Provide classified communication venues for product teams to discuss sensitive requirements, designs, and system shortfalls.
• Perform VMware server administration and high-availability solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, install, and analyze government-furnished computer systems.
• Develop documentation for system certifications and RMF/DIACAP processes.
