Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Hypersonic Fulfillment Group in Huntsville, AL seeks a Material Procurement Requisitioner to support the fulfillment acquisition process, create and manage purchase requisitions in CostPoint, and build meaningful relationships with DOD suppliers.

You will collaborate with engineering, production planning, purchasing and quality teams for mission success, track on-time delivery, and contribute to data analysis while maintaining excellent communication and organizational

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement experience using CostPoint.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and data sheets.
• US Citizenship requirement and clearance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Completely manage the fulfillment acquisition process
• Create, and manage purchase requisitions in CostPoint.
• Communicate effectively with DOD industry suppliers and cultivate meaningful relationships.
• Collaborate with product engineering, production planning, purchasing and quality teams for mission success.
• Track supplier on time delivery and resolve problems as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, have excellent written and verbal skills, be detailed oriented, effective in prioritizing tasks and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Create and present weekly status reports.
