Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Ogden, UT, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager 2 to lead the Ogden Manufacturing Facility (OMF) for the Sentinel program. You will manage multi-facility production, ensure safety, quality, and cost targets, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic defense environment.

Ideal candidates bring leadership in manufacturing, a strong understanding of shop floor processes, and the ability to obtain interim Secret clearance with potential final clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience or equivalent experience as detailed above.
• 2+ years in engineering or manufacturing.
• 1+ years leading manufacturing or production teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage manufacturing, production, and prototyping activities at the Ogden facility.
• Ensure employee safety and deliver quality products on time within cost targets.
• Lead cost, schedule, and performance reporting for multiple projects; develop mitigation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement shop floor best practices (FOD/FOE, 5S, ESD, etc.).
