A leading New York City law firm seeks an experienced Defense Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. The ideal candidate handles complex civil matters from inception through resolution, with substantial client interaction and courtroom exposure.

You will manage matters from assignment through trial, conduct research, draft pleadings and motions, handle discovery, take depositions, and support negotiations.

Competenze

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York State Bar.
• 3+ years of defense litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Courtroom and motion practice experience.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management abilities.

Mansioni

• Manage a caseload of defense litigation matters from initial assignment through trial and appeal, if necessary.
