• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or South Carolina.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Experience in civil litigation and insurance defense preferred.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Oversee the discovery process, including depositions and responses to requests.
• Analyze case facts and develop defense strategies with the team.
• Maintain timely, accurate time entries and pursue billable hours.
