Job summary

Nalley Consulting is seeking a Defense Industry Analyst in Alexandria, VA to support all-source analysis for DoD and IC clients. The role focuses on intelligence production, briefing support, and addressing dynamic requirements with rigorous analytic tradecraft.

The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance, have 8+ years of all-source experience (or 12+ years in lieu of a degree), and be capable of delivering high-quality briefings and written products to senior policymakers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in all-source analysis, or 12+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take polygraph; CI poly prioritized within past seven years.

Responsibilities

• Provide intelligence production and briefing support for dynamic requirements.
• Produce strategic-level assessments on foreign weapon systems and equipment; adhere to analytic tradecraft and publication standards.
• Develop deliverables tailored to senior policymakers and defense stakeholders, including complex written products and briefings.

Required clearance and polygraph: Active TS/SCI and willingness to take polygraph. Candidates with current CI poly conducted within the past seven years highly prioritized.

Required experience and education: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in all-source analysis, or 10+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree.

Description

As a Defense Industries All-Source Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client by providing intelligence production and briefing support to address dynamic intelligence requirements.

Using your comprehensive understanding of all-source analytic tradecraft, production cycles, publication standards, community writing styles, and formats, you’ll produce strategic-level assessments and products that address the research, development, acquisition, test, evaluation and production of foreign weapon systems and equipment.

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
• Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in all-source analysis, or 12+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree

Desired qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with defense industries analysis such as industrial organization, production processes, foreign weapon systems and equipment, and their associated facilities and output levels.
• Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards
• Knowledge of the INDOPACOM AOR.
• Current CI polygraph.
