Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Defense Health Agency Solution Delivery Division (SDD). You will provide advanced testing and engineering support for DHA systems, ensuring security, interoperability, and alignment with mission requirements throughout the lifecycle.

This role focuses on testing across hardware and software, system integration, and documentation, with exposure to RMF and DoD guidance. US citizenship is required and the position is based in the US.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required for 5 years of experience; HS diploma with 9 years experience accepted.
• Proven experience in technical documentation, system architecture, and engineering analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• DoD security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or ability to obtain one.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with test and evaluation processes for IT systems.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Product Testing & Evaluation: conduct rigorous testing to meet system requirements.
• System Integration Testing: perform functional, interoperability, regression, and performance testing.
• Test Script & Test Plan Development: design and implement test evaluation processes and documentation.
• Develop and maintain test plans, scripts and cases for IT systems and components.
• Test Case Analysis & Reporting: provide progress reports and document anomalies in Jira.
• Documentation & Reporting: produce detailed test reports and briefings for leadership and stakeholders.
• Participation in IT Systems Development: engage in all phases with focus on requirements and test design.
• Requirements Analysis: participate in analysis to align testing with mission needs.
• Apply engineering principles to ensure compliant testing.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity to verify RMF compliance.
