Job summary

Eccalon, LLC seeks a highly skilled Financial Analyst to provide comprehensive financial analysis and support to the Department of War as a contractor. You will conduct budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling, collaborate with DoW agencies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. This role requires an active Secret security clearance; you will use DFAS, WAWF, DTS and SABRS to manage budgets and deliver actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• 5 years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Experience as Financial Analyst in defense/government contracting preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis skills.
• Proficiency with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS/GAAP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders including Directors and program managers.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets with DoW agencies and OSBP.
• Perform cost analysis of small business programs and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; prepare financial reports and documentation.
• Support audits and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Assess financial risk and contribute to strategic planning.
• Utilize DFAS/WAWF/DTS/SABRS to aid decision making.
