Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking Employment Litigation Associates and Senior Associates to join our expanding labor and employment practice in California, with offices in Sacramento, Orange County, and San Diego. You will handle wage-and-hour class actions and single-plaintiff discrimination matters while working with a collaborative team.

We offer direct access to leadership, a low-turnover culture, and a clear path to partnership beginning in year seven, with hybrid flexibility across our CA offices.

Qualifications

• Employment litigation experience required; wage and hour class action experience strongly preferred.
• Admission to the California Bar (or ability to obtain).
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Team-oriented mindset and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Litigating wage and hour class actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims
• Representing employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations
• Advising clients on compliance, workplace policies, and risk management
• Collaborating with partners on litigation strategy, motion drafting, depositions, and trial preparation
• Building toward long-term client relationships within a firm known for strong attorney tenure
