Job summary

Raytheon in Massachusetts seeks a Systems Security Engineer II (P2) to join our Systems Security Engineering team and help protect Warfighter technology. This onsite role focuses on cybersecurity analysis, configuration validation, and scripting in Linux and Python.

You will work with DoD-approved tools like Nessus and STIG, support RMF/ATO activities, and contribute to secure network and system hardening across embedded weapons systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience in system security engineering, network security, or embedded security.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cybersecurity data and test results.
• Create patch artifacts and run regression tests on the system.
• Validate secure configurations of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and OS.
• Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts.
