Job summary

Technomics, Inc. is seeking a cost/analytical professional to support defense and civil agency programs from its Arlington, VA area offices. The role focuses on developing baselines, cost estimates, and economic analyses as part of high-performing project teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of cost analysis experience, solid Excel skills, and the ability to communicate analytical results to senior stakeholders. Collaboration with IPTs and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, economics, or business)
• Minimum of 2 years’ defense, intelligence and/or civil agency program cost and economic analysis experience
• College-level coursework in mathematics through Calculus II
• Ability to think analytically, creatively and critically
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and data modeling

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or evaluate program technical and programmatic baselines
• Develop cost estimating techniques for a broad range of elements
• Create independent life cycle cost estimates with risk analysis
• Conduct economic analyses including cost/benefit and options analysis
• Assess credibility of government/industry cost estimates and proposals
• Present analytical results to senior managers and IPTs
