Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Basic Cost Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in Dahlgren, VA. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members, deliver precise analytical products, and assist with cost estimating under general supervision.

Required skills include active DoD Secret clearance and a BA/BS in a related field; proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Desired: degree in mathematics/engineering/finance and ACEIT experience.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
BA/BS in a related field from an accredited institution.
Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members and supervisors on assigned projects and activities.
Deliver high-quality analytical products with a strong emphasis on accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
Develop a deeper understanding of the organization while strengthening core analytical skills.
Assist with cost estimating and cost analysis efforts under general supervision.
Support sensitivity, risk, and uncertainty analysis activities.
Follow established procedures and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
Apply foundational analytical and statistical techniques to solve routine cost analysis challenges.
Prepare and provide Analyses of Alternatives, Business Case Analyses, and mid-term and far-term architecture planning studies.
Analyze Contract Performance Reports (CPRs) and Cost and Software Data Reports (CSDRs) formerly CCDRs and incorporate data into cost estimates.
Develop Cost Models and articulate results both in written form and verbally.
Conduct Cost Research Studies.
Conduct budget analysis and budget formulation.
