TRC Talent is seeking an experienced Consulting Manager for the Defense sector in the Atlanta area. The role combines business development, strategic advisory, and operational transformation to drive growth and client value.

The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in strategy, operational improvement, and leadership of consulting engagements, with the ability to mentor teams and manage senior client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Business, Engineering, CS, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional consulting experience in Aerospace & Defense environments.
• Minimum of 3 years in business development with success in generating and closing opportunities.
• Proven experience managing executive-level client relationships and leading engagements.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Defense clients and stakeholders.
• Lead consulting engagements focusing on strategy execution, operational excellence, and transformation.
• Manage client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to executives.
• Mentor and manage consulting teams; review deliverables before executives.
• Lead business development, including proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract closure.
