Job summary

The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking a Financial Manager to lead budget analysis and execution across the agency’s programs in Chambersburg, Mechanicsburg, and other DoD locations. You will review funds, support documentation, and coordinate with program offices to ensure proper alignment of resources with mission goals.

This role requires one year of specialized experience at or above the GS-13 level and capability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to GS-13 within the federal service.
• Experience interpreting and applying appropriations law, regulations, and guidance; providing advice to customers and collaborating with colleagues on financial and budget-related information.

Responsibilities

• Performs programming, budgeting, and financial management.
• Develops, reviews, and analyzes budget acquisition plans and multi-year programs.
• Coordinates written testimony, exhibits, and support documentation.
• Assists in presentation and defense of budgets and monitors O+M, RDT&E, and procurement appropriations.
• Provides management reports based on program funds execution.
