Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default Invoice Coordinator I to review vendor invoices for approval and ensure adherence to agency and company rules. You will perform reconciliations and verify that work completed is accurately invoiced, while following FHA, VA, USDA, PMI, FNMA, and FHLMC servicing requirements.

The starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.50 per hour. Join our remote-first team and contribute to efficient invoicing processes.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of billing/invoicing experience preferred
  • Default Mortgage Servicing experience preferred
  • Understanding of the loan servicing default-related documents preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to complete research within applicable systems to identify appropriate documentation to support invoicing.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/high production environment.
  • Ability to work independently and organize workflow
  • Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.
  • Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term basis (longer than one month).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy; ability to process and input numerical data with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals utilizing a telephone; requires ability to hear and speak effectively on the telephone.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines
  • Ability to remain flexible and take on new tasks as needed

  • Learn new skills and expand job knowledge to better perform assigned duties.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Default Invoice Coordinator I, you will be responsible for reviewing vendor invoices for approval and ensuring that all invoices are assessed within the applicable agency and/or company-agreed-upon allowable amounts. Perform various reconciliation procedures to ensure all invoices are valid and accurately processed for actual work completed. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The approved starting pay range for this role is $20.00-$21.50/hr.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
