Job Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Mix and serve drinks according to recipes and measures.
• Provide cheerful and courteous service, maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Maintain a clean and stocked bar, verify drink prices, and serve food as required.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions and specials, and assist guests with questions.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and handle transactions efficiently.
• Assess guests’ demeanor, identify intoxicated guests, and know when to involve management.
• Handle payments correctly and give proper change promptly.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and sidework.
• Stand/walk 100% of shift, reach, bend, stir, wipe, and shake drinks vigorously.
• Frequently immerse hands in water and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Speak, read, and write English; read handwritten checks and notes.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor and food safety certification programs.
• Request proper ID and calculate guest ages manually.
