Responsibilities

  • Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure).
  • Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
  • Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume and identify problems.
  • Maintain discharge water quality within SBMPC or local guidelines.
  • Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems.
  • Submit accurate production reporting daily or as required by the company and client.
  • Witness third-party calibrations for verification of meter factors and volumes.
  • Carry out all operations in a safe and environmentally sound manner on offshore facility.
  • Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
  • Complete mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
  • Coordinate logistics for the facility.
  • Chemical treating and handling.
  • Facilitate maintenance operations with isolations as required.
  • Operate under PTW system, Toolbox Talk, and Risk Assessments.
  • Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment.
  • Maintain clear communications during maintenance operations.
  • Control activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships.

Overview

The Deepwater Operator B is responsible for the start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of process and utility systems. This role ensures that process parameters are maintained within operating requirements, samples are taken and acted upon, and troubleshooting is performed to optimize sales quality and delivery volume.

Responsibilities
  • Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure, etc.) within operating requirements.
  • Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
  • Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume to identify problems.
  • Maintain discharge water quality within current SBMPC or local guidelines.
  • Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by the company and client.

  • Prove export oil meters.
