Job summary

Danos is seeking an experienced Deepwater Mechanic to operate an offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements. You will test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment, and handle mandatory paperwork for customers and government agencies.

The role involves troubleshooting turbine compressors, generators, and subsea equipment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with a team on an offshore installation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years offshore mechanic experience.
• Turbine experience preferred.
• Familiar with Subsea equipment and offshore lifeboat maintenance policies.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to develop maintenance, testing and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.

Overview

The position of Deepwater Mechanic entails operating an offshore production facility according to customer specifications, conducting testing, calibration, maintenance, and inspections of equipment, and completing mandatory paperwork for both customers and governmental agencies. Additionally, responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment such as turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, and reciprocating equipment like pumps and compressors.

Responsibilities
