Job summary

Danos in Galliano, LA seeks an Offshore Deepwater Mechanic to operate an offshore production facility according to customer specs, perform testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance.

You will handle mandatory paperwork for customers and government agencies, troubleshoot turbines, generators, and subsea equipment, and contribute to safe, reliable platform operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-8 years mechanic experience working offshore on a production platform
• Offshore deepwater rotating equipment experience preferred
• Solar Turbine experience preferred
• SAP experience and computer knowledge
• Should be familiar with Subsea equipment
• Familiar with permit to work system
• Organization skills to maintain platform
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills in a team environment
• Creating policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboats
• Needs to have technical mechanical skills
