Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking an experienced Deepwater Mechanic to operate an offshore production facility, perform testing, calibration, maintenance, and inspections of critical equipment. The role includes completing mandatory paperwork for customers and government agencies and troubleshooting turbine compressors, generators, and reciprocating equipment.

The successful candidate will have offshore experience (3-6 years), familiarity with subsea equipment, and proficiency with SAP, Waukesha, and CAT

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-6 years of mechanic experience offshore on a production platform.
• Some turbine experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Waukesha, reciprocating equipment and CAT is required.
• SAP and computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Operate offshore production facility per customer requirements.
• Test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment.
• Perform mandatory paperwork for customers and government agencies.

Overview

The position of Deepwater Mechanic entails operating an offshore production facility according to customer specifications, conducting testing, calibration, maintenance, and inspections of equipment, and completing mandatory paperwork for both customers and governmental agencies. Additionally, responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment such as turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, and reciprocating equipment like pumps and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements
• Test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies
• Maintain and troubleshoot, turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-6 years mechanic experience working offshore on a production platform
• Some turbine experience preferred
• Waukesha, reciprocating equipment and CAT experience required
• SAP and Computer knowledge
• Should be familiar with Subsea equipment
• Organization skills to maintain platform
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills in a team environment
• Creating policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboats
• Needs to have technical mechanical skills and be able to create policies and procedure
• Candidate will not be required to complete technical writing tasks
