Job summary

Hale Groves in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a Deep Reach Forklift Operator (Seasonal) to load and unload pallets, move inventory, and assist in other areas as needed. This on-site role supports our warehouse operations during peak periods.

The position requires at least 1 year of experience operating a deep reach forklift, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow a seasonal production schedule while maintaining safety and organization on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 1 year experience on a deep reach forklift.
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Good organizational skills
• Able to adhere to seasonal production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers using a forklift and by hand as needed.
• Store and pick product in the double deep racking system and keep inventory organized.
• Perform daily lift truck inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow all safety standards and identify and report workplace hazards.
• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed, including non-forklift tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Deep Reach Forklift Operator (Seasonal)

General Function

Operates a double deep reach lift truck to move, store, and pick palletized product within the warehouse racking system, and loads and unloads trucks. Follows all safety regulations and helps keep the facility clean and organized. While forklift operation is the primary function, responsibilities are not limited to forklift duties, and employees may be asked to assist in other areas as needed.
