Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Academic or industrial experience applying deep learning or GenAI to real-world problems.
• Experience developing and optimizing DL/Vision Foundation Models or Vision Language Models with emphasis on efficiency and deployment.
• Experience with DL model optimization/distillation for mixed or reduced precision (FP16/FP8).
• GenAI coding tools or vibe engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of C++, Java, Rust, or Go.
• Proficiency in a DL framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Understand SOTA DL and GenAI models and map them to domain problems.
• Design DL/GenAI models to meet modeling requirements for image processing and CV.
• Implement prototypes and perform analysis; train and tune models on domain data.
• Evaluate model performance against metrics and optimize throughput and cost.
• Communicate results and collaborate across teams; present ideas in technical settings.
• Explore efficient backbones, model compression, and mixed-precision inference/training.
