Job summary

Expedition Technology (EXP) seeks an experienced Deep Learning-and-Software Engineer to apply DL and software engineering to challenging intel-focused problems. You will develop DL architectures and end-to-end deployables, from data handling to productizing models in AWS.

The role demands Top Secret clearance or eligibility, strong Python and PyTorch skills, and proven ability to ship robust, tested software in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• US Citizenship – eligible to maintain US Government security clearance.
• MS with 2+ years or BS with 4+ years in a technical field.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar ML framework.
• Strong theory of deep neural networks and CV applications.
• Experience deploying ML solutions in AWS.
• Experience with Git and software collaboration tools.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.
• Proficient in Python and OO/Procedural languages.
• Solid data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Exposure to Docker, Linux, and cloud development.

• Researching academic literature to keep abreast of the latest theories, techniques, and tools

Required Skills and Experience:

• An activeTopSecretclearance (TS/SCI preferred)

• MS and2+ years of experience or BS and4+ years of experience in a technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Statistics,orAppliedMathematics
• ProvenproficiencyinPyTorch, TensorFlow, or other modern machine learning framework
• Solid theoretical understanding of deep neural networks as well as its applications, particularly in computer vision
• Proven experience architecting, training, testing, and deploying machine learning solutions within an AWS environment
• Experience using collaborative source code management tools (Git)
• Strong technical presentation and writing skills
• Strong software development skills to include object-oriented design and implementation inlanguageslike Python
• Strong practical experience developing in both object oriented andprocedurallanguages
• Experience with standard data structures, algorithms, and application organization
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, CI/CD, agile/scrummethodologies
• Experience with software testing (unit, integration,functional, etc.)
• Exposure to software containerization with Docker, Linux, and cloud development
