Job summary

KLA is seeking a Deep Learning Algorithm Engineer in Milpitas, CA to advance DL, GenAI, and foundation models for semiconductor process control. You will own end-to-end model lifecycle from concept to deployment, emphasizing performance, efficiency, and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in EE/CS or related field with deep learning experience.
• Experience applying DL/GenAI to real-world problems and deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of C++, Java, Rust, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Understand state-of-the-art DL and GenAI models and adapt them to domain problems.
• Design and optimize DL/GenAI models for semiconductor process control applications.
• Train, tune, and evaluate models; analyze bottlenecks and performance.
• Collaborate across teams and present results in technical settings.
