Job summary

KLA is seeking a highly motivated Software AI Engineer in Austin, TX to develop next-generation AI/ML solutions for semiconductor process control, inspection, and metrology systems. You will work at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and high-performance software engineering to deliver scalable, impactful products.

The role requires strong Python and C++ programming, experience with ML/DL, and a track record of deploying AI solutions in Linux environments.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Strong programming experience in Python and C++.
Experience developing and deploying ML/DL solutions.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software engineering.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML algorithms for semiconductor inspection, metrology, and process control.
Build and optimize models using large-scale engineering data.
Develop software for model training, validation, deployment, and inference workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into production systems.
Evaluate new AI technologies and develop proof-of-concept solutions.
Improve performance with parallel computing, GPU acceleration, and scalable architectures.
Contribute to cloud-enabled and edge AI solutions for semiconductor platforms.
