Job summary

dnata Catering seeks a DeepCleaner to ensure exceptional cleanliness and sanitation across the facility, including storage rooms, refrigerators, and freezers. You will deep clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils to meet food safety standards and regulations.

Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will support a hygienic environment for food preparation and safe handling of waste, with duties spanning cleaning, disposal, and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred with 3+ years’ experience in deep cleaning/ housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience
• Knowledge of power and non-power equipment, and machinery required to perform tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and self-organized
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move 30+ lbs. as needed
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all areas including storage rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Comply with sanitation SOPs including HACCP and USDA regulations.
• Clean all kitchen equipment and tabletops.
• Sanitize interior areas, floors, and exterior property.
• Handle disposal of all waste according to regulations.
• Sanitize restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic.
• Assist with placement of office equipment and furniture and kitchen equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.

You willbe responsible fordeep cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils to meet food safety standards and regulations. Your attention to detail is crucial in ensuring that all areas, including storage rooms, refrigerators, and freezers, are thoroughly cleaned, andmaintained. Additionally, you willbe responsible fordisposingof wasteandmaintainingproper recycling protocols. Your role will contribute tomaintaininga hygienic and safe environment for food preparation, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for the catering facility. EDUCATION:Minimum ofaHigh School Diploma or GED with2+ years’ experienceindeep cleaning/ housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow established rules of the facility for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene andobservesecurity precautions as mandated by facility management.

• Comply withcompany implemented sanitation Standard Operating Procedures including the company’s HACCP Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices whichmaintainsthe company’s compliance with USDA regulations.

• Clean all equipment and tabletops in the hot/cold kitchen.

• Sanitize all interior areas within facility, floors, and external property.

• Handle disposal of all waste products. International trash and garbage to be disposed of according to regulations.

• Ensure that spills are promptly moppedupand floors are kept dry and degreased to minimize slips and falls due to wet floors.

• Use proper detergents and degreasing solvents tomaintainsafeworking environment for all production areas andmaintainuse and proper storage of sanitation chemicals and equipment.

• Sanitize all restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic, including walls.

• Empty and clean refuse containers and dispose of refuse in proper bins for later removal.

• Cleaning of all pots and pans

• Assistwith placement of office equipment and furniture and kitchen equipment.
• Other duties asassignedby unit Supervisors.
