Job summary

Lava Island is seeking a Deep Clean Team Member for overnight and early-morning shifts. You will deep-clean the jump deck, foam pits, playground, kitchens, and restrooms to exacting standards, ensuring a safe, spotless environment for guests.

You’ll work mostly overnight, using approved chemicals and PPE, and you’ll help maintain a welcoming, sparkling park that families enjoy for birthdays and play. Growth toward supervision is available.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour, plus employee perks

About the Role

As a Deep Clean Team Member, you keep the park spotless, sanitary, and ready for families. You work mostly overnight and early mornings, when the park is quiet, deep cleaning everything routine shift cleaning doesn't reach: the jump deck, foam pits, and playground, the commercial kitchen, restrooms, and the high and hidden surfaces across the park. This isn't surface-level work. Anyone can wipe down a vinyl pad; we're looking for someone who pulls the pads apart to get the crevices and goes after the spots where grime hides. It is hands‑on, physical, detail-driven work, and it directly protects the safety and fun of every guest.

What You'll Do

• Deep clean the areas routine shift and closing cleaning doesn't reach, getting into the seams, crevices, and hidden spots where grime collects
• Deep clean the jump deck, foam pits, and playground, getting into the pads and netting, not just the tops
• Clean the multi‑story playground at height: crawl through it and reach ledges, tubing, netting, and drapes from outside
• Deep clean the commercial kitchen: cooking equipment, hoods, fryers, grills, ovens, and drains, to food‑safety standards
• Clean and sanitize guest areas, restrooms, and food areas to the same standard
• Use only approved cleaning chemicals, following SDS directions and PPE, never an unapproved product
• Complete your deep‑clean checklists in Xenia and finish your area before the park opens
• Report equipment, supply, and safety issues to your supervisor

What You'll Need

• Available for nights and early mornings (required), plus occasional weekends
• Age 18 or older
• Comfortable working at heights on and around a multi‑story play structure
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass a background check
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
