PeopleFirst Education Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Evans, GA for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role delivers IEP-driven instruction in a school-based setting to support academic, behavioral, and social success.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to monitor progress and maintain documentation while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Special Education Teaching License is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with student goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and functional needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
