Job summary

Park County School District 6 seeks a Route Bus Driver to transport students on scheduled routes and field trips. You will ensure safety, proper loading/unloading, and adherence to district policies while maintaining clean, safe vehicles.

The role requires a CDL Type B, DOT physical, and CPR/First Aid, with ongoing trainings and background clearance. Schedule includes minimum 4 hours per day and responding to snow day needs as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; job-related experience required.
• CDL Type B with PS Endorsement; Federal DOT Physical; pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening; CPR/First Aid as assigned; evidence of insurability.
• Continuing Education / Training and Clearances: annual trainings (Bloodborne Pathogens, Diabetes, Homelessness, etc.); criminal background clearance; maintain insurability.

Responsibilities

• Transport students on scheduled routes and field trips in a safe, timely manner.
• Ensure safety and proper loading/unloading of students.
• Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Adhere to district policies and safety regulations.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and inquiries from students, parents and staff.
