Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC is seeking a Dedicated Onsite Account Manager to be based at Universal Forrest Products in Saginaw, TX. The role supervises drivers, collaborates with customers to grow business, and coordinates with Maverick management to optimize costs and service levels.

You will manage multiple Transportation Management Systems daily, develop KPI-driven plans, and ensure profitable accounts while maintaining strong customer relationships through on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a four-year college degree; 2 years related experience/training and 2 years related management experience.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with customers to grow business and also control cost.
• Acts as direct liaison between the customer and Maverick management.
• Maintains market knowledge of rates, lanes, and dispatch areas for all accounts and works with Management/Pricing/Sales on strategy.
• Manages multiple TMS (Transportation Management System) platforms daily.
• Ensures account profitability by developing KPI and meeting/exceeding standards.
