Under physician or nurse supervision, you will assist with patient assessments, perform basic diagnostics and specimen collection, document care, maintain equipment, and handle scheduling and registration tasks. Requirements include high school diploma, accredited MA program, CCMA/CMA/RMA, and BLS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent is required.
• Licensure/certifications: CCMA, CMA or RMA.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must handle stress and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision of physician or nurse.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition; document care given.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Perform administrative duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
