Job summary

C.R. England seeks drivers for a local drayage lane hauling containers to Wilmington, NC, and the Port of Virginia. This position features no-touch freight, daily home time, and a TWIC card is required before you join the fleet.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work. NC shifts are 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and VA shifts 6:00 PM–6:00 AM; reliable transportation is needed as trucks cannot be taken home.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required and 3+ months current driving experience.
• TWIC card required prior to joining the fleet.
• Must be 21 years or older and pass a DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Haul local lane delivering containers to Wilmington, NC and the Port of Virginia.
• No-touch freight with live load/unload.
• Shifts Monday–Friday with possible Saturdays; NC-based shifts 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and VA-based shifts 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Route Details:

This is a local lane hauling containers, with deliveries to Wilmington, NC, and the Port of Virginia. No-touch freight, all drivers must have a TWIC card prior to joining the fleet. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with the occasional Saturday.

• North Carolina-based driver shifts 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Virginia-based driver shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

All drivers must have reliable transportation as trucks cannot be taken home.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and 3+ months of current experience required
• This lane not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
