Sittercity.com is seeking a highly reliable companion to support aging parents with the evening routine in Los Angeles. The shift is 5:00pm–9:00pm seven days a week, including dinner, wind-down, bedtime prep around 8:00pm, and ensuring home security before leaving.

Ideal candidates have prior senior companion or memory care experience, reliable transportation, and are willing to undergo a full background check and provide verifiable professional references.

• Daily check in: send a brief text update confirming bedtime and departure.

Schedule

Core Responsibilities

• Dinner: prepare or reheat a healthy dinner, encouraging hydration.
• Evening: Assist with dinner clean-up, wind-down, changing mother into sleepwear, and getting parents comfortably settled into bed by 8:00pm.
• Security: Check that all doors are securely locked and safety lights are set before departing.
• Daily check in: brief text update to the family confirming bedtime and departure.
