Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Med Surg Cardio Thoracic Unit on the Brighton campus. This full-time role offers 24 hours per week, with days, every other weekend and rotating holidays, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Under RN supervision, the NA provides direct patient care, supports families, and helps maintain a safe, clean unit while documenting patient data and responding to call lights.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• BLS required.
• High School diploma or equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated patient care under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs and other patient data accurately.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfer procedures as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and unit supplies.
• Ensure infection control practices and safety standards are followed.
