LEM Trucking is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Detroit, Michigan, for a dedicated regional position offering average weekly earnings of $1,750 to $1,900. This opportunity is designed for drivers who are comfortable with physical deliveries and prefer operating within a defined three-state territory.
Unlike traditional no-touch freight, this account requires drivers to unload boxes using U-carts. Some boxes can be heavy, so applicants must be prepared for regular physical activity during deliveries.
Freight moves primarily throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Drivers serve an established dedicated account rather than rotating between unrelated freight operations.
A Class A CDL Truck Driver returns home every week for a scheduled 34-hour reset. The concentrated running area allows drivers to work within a familiar regional network while maintaining consistent customer assignments.
The company also contributes toward medical insurance costs. Complete compensation details and available bonuses are reviewed during the interview process.
Each Class A CDL Truck Driver operates a 2019 through 2022 Freightliner tractor with an automatic transmission. Many trucks include APUs and 1,500-watt power inverters for additional convenience.
New drivers complete approximately three days of paid orientation. Virtual and in-person options are available, with private hotel accommodations and covered qualifying expenses for in-person attendees.
Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least three months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the previous 12 months.
Drivers must be capable of safely unloading freight using U-carts, handling heavier boxes, and meeting applicable DOT and company safety standards.
