Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Ashland, VA. You will drive a day cab tractor pulling a 53’ trailer delivering groceries to locations in VA, DC and NC.

This position offers $29.00 per hour, weekly pay every Friday, paid vacation, PTO and holidays, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, annual profit sharing, disability coverage, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL required.
Minimum 1 year of recent van tractor trailer experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
No more than three moving violations/accidents in last 3 years.
Ability to read/write/speak English.
Must obtain/maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Deliveries to locations based on daily manifest and pick up returns as needed.
Ensure security and safety of tractor and freight; comply with DOT rules.
Build relationships with customers and account managers through clear communication.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
