Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking a full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver in Ashland, VA. You will be earning $29.00 per hour while operating a day cab tractor, transporting groceries to various locations in VA, DC, and North Carolina.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of 1 year tractor trailer experience. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries and picking up potential returns based on daily manifest.
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight.
• Building relationships through communication with customers and account managers.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Ashland, VA. You will be driving a day cab tractor pulling a 53’ Van or Reefer trailer carrying groceries to various locations in VA, DC and North Carolina.

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest as well as picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
