BrightStar Care of Grosse Pointe and Southeast Macomb, MI is hiring dedicated Caregivers to support a high-acuity client in the Downriver area with 24/7 home and nursing care. Join a two-person team working with a nurse to deliver compassionate, professional care.

Formación

• CPR certification and TB test (or Chest X-ray).
• Minimum 1 year of home health, primary care clinic, or healthcare facility experience.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

• Assist the client with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Prepare meals (must be a competent cook).
• Drive a wheelchair-accessible van (client enjoys outings).
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the client with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Requirements:

• CPR Certification & Negative TB Test (or Chest X-ray)
• Minimum 1 Year of Experience (Home health, primary care clinic, or healthcare facility preferred)
• Strong nursing assessment skills
• Valid driver’s license & proof of auto insurance
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility (standing, walking, bending, etc.)
• Experience using a Hoyer Lift
