Overview

Kelly Benefits in Sparks, MD is seeking an insurance benefit experienced individual to provide professional and efficient service via telephone and email to key contacts with clients in a fast-paced environment. Primarily providing resolution to customer issues by utilizing independent judgment and problem-solving skills to efficiently service, administer and bill client accounts. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients to maximize the business partnership to retain customers and work with affiliated insurance carriers and suppliers in resolving customer problems or concerns. This individual must be comfortable working with demanding customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Minimum hours are Monday through Friday 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Additional hours may be required to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and efficient service via telephone and email to key contacts with clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resolve customer issues by utilizing independent judgment and problem-solving skills to efficiently service, administer and bill client accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to maximize the business partnership and retain customers.
  • Collaborate with affiliated insurance carriers and suppliers to resolve customer problems or concerns.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when working with demanding customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Two years insurance and/or human resources experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Life and Health Producer’s license is a plus but not required
