Qualifications

• 1–5 years of practical laboratory experience in standard microbiological methods.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Strong understanding of microbiology principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills for data interpretation and analysis.
• Meticulous documentation in laboratory notebooks, authorship of technical reports, and SOPs.
• Ability to design and execute experiments independently and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments in BSL-1 and BSL-2 environments following established protocols.
• Collaborate to design, test, and deliver rapid decontamination methods for small and large areas.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning with regular calibrations.
• Document findings in laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports.
• Develop detection methods for field use and optimize processes for field demonstrations.
• Coordinate complex repairs with external service vendors as needed.
