Nightwing in Tyson's Corner, VA seeks a part-time Information Review and Release Analyst to support the KODIAK Program. The role oversees declassification of documents in litigation contexts, ensuring proper chronology and strict confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has strong FOIA/PA/EOMDR knowledge, sharp analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will coordinate with legal counsel and Other Government Agencies, document redactions, and manage referrals with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FOIA, Privacy Act, and EOMDR programs and directives; strong understanding of IC operations.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience in a team environment.
• Knowledge of legal terminology related to police, security, or court systems.
• Strong work ethic and organizational/time management skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and related systems to perform requirements.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and be flexible.

Responsabilités

• Oversee declassification of documents for litigation cases with strict confidentiality.
• Organize documents in preparation for legal counsel review with accurate chronology.
• Act as liaison for Other Government Agency (OGA) in the process and manage referrals.
• Conduct desktop research to assess relevance of new searches and prior releases.
• Record redactions and decisions using Sponsor guidance in electronic systems.
• Determine OGA equities and whether external referral or non-routine handling is required.
• Provide feedback on declassification decisions and ensure consistency with prior rulings.
