Job summary

Bowhead Marine Support Services seeks an Ordinary Seaman to support the operations of 120' Missile Retriever and other small craft for the 53rd Weapons Group, 82nd Aerial Target Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.

You will operate and maintain vessels, conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with range safety duties, and comply with STCW and USCG requirements. A valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a deckhand
• Must hold a USCG Rating forming part of the Navigational Watch
• Must meet STCW competence standards
• Proficient in following instructions during planned maritime operations
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and have a valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work well in a team

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned vessels in support of the mission within 200nm of the Panama City Sea Buoy
• Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on vessels
• Assist with repairs and modifications to meet mission requirements
• Display knowledge of Port Operations Support Functions and workboats for security gate operations
