Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. seeks Marine Wheelmen to operate inland towing vessels transporting liquid and chemical cargoes on U.S. inland and coastal waterways. This role offers flexible rotation schedules and a substantial sign-on bonus, with a daily pay rate of $700 and a $10,000 signing bonus.

Ideal candidates hold MOTV/Mate Pilot credentials, TWIC, relevant endorsements, and safety records, ready to work in a dynamic, physically demanding environment on the Gulf Coast region.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Valid Master of Towing Vessels (MOTV) or Mate Pilot of Towing Vessels license, >200 gross tons, with towing endorsements for Western Rivers and Inland Waters.
  • Valid Radar Endorsement and FFC license.
  • Minimum 2 years wheelhouse experience; 3 years on inland towing vessels.
  • Ability to safely navigate up to two 30,000 BBL barges on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and Mississippi River.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate inland towing vessels transporting liquid and chemical cargoes on U.S. inland and coastal waterways.
  • Work in flexible rotation schedules and with safety-first procedures.
  • Fly on a commercial airline for crew change as required.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and USCG requirements.

What You'll Need

  • Must be willing and able to fly on a commercial airline for crew change
  • Must satisfactorily complete pre-employment physical exam (USCG CG-719k), drug and alcohol screen, benzene physical, and respirator test
  • Must wear proper PPE and promote a safety-first culture
